Deputies: Geneva man tried to steal basketball from Walmart | Crime

A Geneva man is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say he tried to steal a basketball from Walmart.

Thirty-year-old Sullivan Greco is charged with petit larceny.
 
Sheriff's deputies say Greco went into the Walmart in Canandaigua Monday just after 4 p.m. They say he took the air out of a basketball, put it in his pants and walked out of the store without paying. He was stopped by Walmart employees.

Greco is currently on parole for another charge.
