Police: Three teens hosted underage drinking party in Canandaigua

Three teenagers, two from Canandaigua and one from Honeoye Falls are accused of throwing an underage drinking party.

Canandaigua Police were called to a house on Gibson Street late Monday night for a noise complaint and that’s when officers say they discovered the underage party.

Cory Holton, Haley Appleby and Charice Miller, all 19 years old, were given appearance tickets.

Holton is also accused of resisting arrest.

Deputies: Fairport teen falsified customer returns, stole money from employer

A Fairport teen is facing charges, after police say he stole from his employer.

19-year-old Sandro Basic is charged with petit larceny and forgery.

According to police, Basic stole more than $500 from the OfficeMax store in Victor, where he worked. Ontario County Sheriff's officials say Basic falsified customer return transactions.

Basic will reappear in Victor Town Court to answer the charges.

Canandaigua man arrested on child porn charges

A 24-year-old Canandaigua man has been arrested for possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child.

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say Jeffrey George Schinsing was in possession of child porn.
 
Schinsing was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail. He is due in court at a later date.
 

Court date for Canandaigua man accused of videotaping teen adjourned

The pretrial conference for a 39-year-old man accused of videotaping a 15-year-old female getting out of the shower in her home has been adjourned until November 28.

Scott Allen of Canandaigua was charged on Sunday with second-degree unlawful surveillance.

Court documents say Allen installed a digital camera in the bathroom of an apartment at the Garden Apartments on Bristol Street in Canandaigua.

Deputies: Man pushed shopping cart into wife at Walmart

A Canandaigua man is accused of shoving a shopping cart into his wife while at Walmart.

Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 34-year-old Daniel McWilliams Sunday night. Deputies say he got into an argument with his wife and hit her with the cart.

News10NBC is told the couple’s four-year-old child was in the cart at the time.

McWilliams is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Victor man arrested for spitting on bell-ringer

A Victor man is under arrest after he was accused of spitting on a holiday bell-ringer at Eastview Mall on Saturday.
 
Ontario County Sheriff's deputies charged 57-year-old Bruce Littlejohn with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct following the incident. Littlejohn was also charged with resisting arrest after he refused to comply with the investigating officers and physically resisted being taken into custody.
 
Littlejohn was arraigned in Victor Town Court and was taken to the Ontario County Jail where he's being held on $5,000 bail. He'll appear in town court at a later date.

Parent teacher organization treasurer charged with grand larceny

The treasurer of the parent teacher organization in Ontario County is facing charges after sheriff's deputies say she stole more than $50,000 from the accounts that she had access to.

Tracy L. Brooks, 44, of Canandaigua is charged with grand larceny. She was the treasurer of the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teacher Organization from 2007 to September 2012.

After financial irregularities with the organization, Sheriff's Deputies investigated and found that Brooks took more than $50,000 from the accounts that she had access to.

Brooks was arrested and sent to the Ontario County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. She is due back in Gorham Town Court at a later date.
