Deputies: Man pushed shopping cart into wife at Walmart

A Canandaigua man is accused of shoving a shopping cart into his wife while at Walmart.

Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 34-year-old Daniel McWilliams Sunday night. Deputies say he got into an argument with his wife and hit her with the cart.

News10NBC is told the couple’s four-year-old child was in the cart at the time.

McWilliams is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Victor man arrested for spitting on bell-ringer

A Victor man is under arrest after he was accused of spitting on a holiday bell-ringer at Eastview Mall on Saturday.
 
Ontario County Sheriff's deputies charged 57-year-old Bruce Littlejohn with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct following the incident. Littlejohn was also charged with resisting arrest after he refused to comply with the investigating officers and physically resisted being taken into custody.
 
Littlejohn was arraigned in Victor Town Court and was taken to the Ontario County Jail where he's being held on $5,000 bail. He'll appear in town court at a later date.

Parent teacher organization treasurer charged with grand larceny

The treasurer of the parent teacher organization in Ontario County is facing charges after sheriff's deputies say she stole more than $50,000 from the accounts that she had access to.

Tracy L. Brooks, 44, of Canandaigua is charged with grand larceny. She was the treasurer of the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teacher Organization from 2007 to September 2012.

After financial irregularities with the organization, Sheriff's Deputies investigated and found that Brooks took more than $50,000 from the accounts that she had access to.

Brooks was arrested and sent to the Ontario County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. She is due back in Gorham Town Court at a later date.

Canandaigua woman charged with menacing with baseball

A Canandaigua woman has been charged by Canandaigua police with first-degree burglary and second-degree menacing.

Police said Katherine D. Miller, 26, entered and remained unlawfully in a Bristol Street residence and menaced a resident with a baseball.

Miller was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and sent to the Ontario County Jail.

Rochester man charged with burglary in Victor

A Rochester man was charge November 9 with third-degree burglary after an alleged incident at Kohl's in Victor.

Jonathan M. Marshall, 24, allegedly stole a wallet valued at $28 from the store after he was previously warned to not trespass on the property, police said.

He was arraigned in Victor Town Court and sent to the Ontario County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.

Canandaigua teen charged with harassment

A Canandaigua teen has been arrested on harassment charges.

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say they charged 17-year-old Kristen Moran following an altercation where she punched someone in the face, causing his nose to bleed. Deputies say the incident took place in the parking lot of the Arrow Mart in Clifton Springs.

She is due in court at a later date.
 

Police: Canandaigua woman charged with hitting 3-year-old girl

A Canandaigua woman has been arrested after she hit a young child with a wooden object.

Police say Jasmine C. Justiniano, 28, of Canandaigua hit a three year old girl who was in her care with a wooden object . The girl suffered physical injuries.

Justiniano was arraigned on assault charges in Canandaigua City Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash $5,000 bond.
