Mark’s Pizzeria reopens following Palmyra fire | News
With the help of Mark’s Pizzeria workers from throughout the area, the restaurant last week opened its doors for the first time since a May fire destroyed the original pizzeria — and other businesses as well.
Mark Crane, owner/founder of the franchise, was on site from opening to close during the first few days at the Main Street restaurant, and business was brisk.
Crane helped cook, and he greeted customers, including little ones who got free t-shirts for singing the Mark’s Pizzeria jingle.
The new Palmyra location has a much larger eating and kitchen area, and it is a model for all new Mark’s locations, said Crane. He noted that the Canandaigua Mark’s has moved from its small quarters on Lafayette Avenue in the city to larger quarters near Canandaigua Theatres in the old Walmart plaza at Eastern Boulevard and County Road 10 in Hopewell.
