H&M stores in Victor, Greece to close on January 24 | News

Employees at H&M – the European clothing store – tell News10NBC the locations Eastview Mall and the Mall at Greece Ridge will close in three weeks.

The last day you will be able to buy clothes and accessories is January 24.

There are 17 employees at the Eastview Mall and 14 employees at the Mall at Greece Ridge Center. H&M says the well-being of its employees is its top priority and all of its employees from these locations will be given options to relocate to other stores in the US.  H&M has 273 stores in 33 states.

Dennis Wilmot, Senior Vice President of Leasing & Development for Wilmorite said, “After lengthy negotiations, we were unable to bridge the gap between our respective expectations for the two spaces. We are both disappointed with the outcome but must move forward. Fortunately, we are well on our way to backfilling both locations with new, exciting retail and entertainment concepts and hope to make some announcements in the coming months."

H&M says, "After considering several options, closing these stores was decided to be the best business decision."
